Into the Madness part II

	It was still snowing, but I didn't really care. I had found a spot 
just above a cluster of spongin troops. I fired a volley of grenades at the 
group, as half of them fell the other half ran about like a headless chicken.
"I LOVE sneak attacks!", I said audiably as I jumped down into the fray. A 
few shots from my blasters finished the group.

	As expected, the sponge minions were not very formidable, that is if
you ignore their sheer number. At any rate, I was dropping them rather 
rapidly. I was feeling very cocky when, "Wham!!", a blast knocked me sideways
over three yards. As I scrambled to regain balance I saw what shot me, a Jello 
beast. My energy shields were hit somewhat hard, but those would regenerate 
and I was otherwise intact. I dropped back, into a small ravine, trying to 
get some distance. The Jello beast was fast. I fired a few rounds from my 
blasters, but he still kept coming. I remembered my special surprise weapon 
I had put on my suit before the battle. There was no time to test it. "Well, 
no better time that the present.", I thought as I armed the launcher. As soon
as I had enough distance between me and the blob, I fired. A small rocket 
launched from the device mounted on the right arm of the suit. It embedded 
almost its entire length into the blob, then it exploded spreading ignited 
*thermite inside the beast.
(thermite is a substance that, when ignited, can vaporise carbon steel)

	It twitched in agony as the contents of the rocket burned it from the
inside out. As it burned, I opened up on it with my blasters. The beast sort 
of came apart right there. It was pool of burning goop,with a few 
occasionally twitching hardened chunks, when I left it to die. Whew! that 
smelled wierd.

	I checked my status, my shields were at 76% and were regenerating. I 
had four thermite rockets left, and in need of some tunes. Considering the
body count, not too bad. 

	Set music "Walk" -Pantera.

	Just then I saw a pair of bots closing from opposite sides on my HUD.
