Site Organization

Where possible, things have been arranged both chronologically and hierarchically. Operations, a synonym for stories told by multiple writers for an extended duration, are grouped together as they relate to one another: Phoenix predates Pacifica which predates HomeFront and Cairo.
As short stories often have a time frame of their own, they have been arranged alphabetically. In most cases, the author hints at the time of their story relative to a major event in the Jihad's roleplay universe.

Reading Guide

The nomenclature of this archive is defined as follows:

Operation: a writing project undertaken by four of more people who each write multiple segments of an overall story. Due to the number of participants, Operations are often quite length and voluminous in content.
Series: a shorter written work by two to three people. Typically succinct and to-the-point, covering a small number of segments.
Short Stories: Usually written by one person in a single segment; as the name implies.

All operation archive pages run in chronological order from left to right, top to bottom. Series archives follow the same pattern where applicable. Short stories are listed in alphabetical order, alphabetical by author without respect to chronology.
